DaVallia presents photography by John Churchman

When I think about Vermont I think of home, I think of beauty. We are surrounded by color, mountains, farms, community, tranquility, and nature. Sometimes the landscape can take your breath away.
DaVallia's newest Artist/Photographer John Churchman has captured these moments of incredible beauty that surround us.

He and his family live on a small family farm in Northern Vermont. Many of his current images are about the "farm to table" movement and growing sustainable food. So expect images of heritage turkeys, happy hens, roosters, ducks, geese, pigs , lambs, sheep, organic gardens, free range chickens, and life on the farm.
John Churchman trained as a photographer and photo retoucher(before photoshop) in New York City. He graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria ,Virginia. Then attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, graduating in 1979 with a year abroad at the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland, where he developed his golf game and appreciation of fine scotch. He has worked as a commercial airbrush artist, photo retoucher, illustrator and graphic designer.
